Swensen's

After the orgasmic food orgy at Takehana, we headed over to Swensen's
which was over the street. It was the main reason I came all the way to
Autocity.

After closing down in obscurity at Mar Vista almost 10 years ago, the
infamous ice cream parlour reopens a branch at Autocity.

The Place.
We had to queue up again.
The rain made the outdoor
tables wet, so there were
limited seats.

Me.
I made another homo-erotic
pose with the menu. I'm a
fetish for menus. I get
orgasm-like pleasure whenever
I hold a menu. By the time
this pose was over, I would
have ejaculated in my pants.
That was a joke. Stop wanking.

Sticky Chewy Chocolate
Price : RM13.00++
True to its name, in some
extend, you can 'chew' the
chocolate. And thanks god
the chocolate is rich in
flavour and not sweet. The
chocolate chips were huge.
Very very nice. Love it.

Frosted Chocolate Malt
Price : RM13.00++
No idea. Jia Yit had it.
Has marshmallow toppings.
Must be a bit sweet.
And has chocolate balls.
Yeah, chocolate soaked
genitals.

Cookie Summit

Price : RM13.00++
Sam had it. Looks like grounded
chocolate cookies with vanilla
ice cream. It's like Mc Flurry
from MCD. But this should
be way better than any
Mc Flurry.

White Chocolate Blondie

Price : RM20.00++
A huge scoop of white chocolate on top of some weird cake over a sizzling
pan. Maple butter syrup is poured over it accompanied by a shower of
assorted nuts like Fred, Sam and Raggy. I mean pistachios, almonds and
the rest unknown. Nice? Yes, it was very nice when I had the first, last
and only bite. By the time I finished my chewy chocolate, Fred cleaned
the plate....

Banana Crumble

Price : RM20.00++
Huge vanilla ice cream on top of banana cake on a sizzling pan. Add in
some butter scotch cream sauce and some caramelled banana slices, its
aroma is enough to fill the entire room. According to Raggy, if you eat
some of the melting but cold ice cream + the hot and a bit crispy cake +
sizzling butter scotch cream + caramelled sliced banana all at time
per spoon = godlike

Swensen's is a good addition to the other ice cream franchise we can find
locally, like Baskin Robbins and Hagen Dazs. I'm not saying it's better
or the other 2 is better ( I never liked Hagen Dazs), but each has its
own unique style. IMO, Baskin Robbin's chocolate is better in terms of
richer in flavour and more bitterness...but I can get a freakingly
huge scoop of not-so-far-off chocolate served with huge tasty chocolate chips
with hot fudge for just RM13.00++ instead for a miserable scoop
at Baskin for RM8.00++, without topping.
What? Vanilla? Mocha? Banana? Strawberry? What are those? I only eat
chocolate ice cream.

Swensen's must open more branches!!!
