Four Leaves Cafe

I drove down to town to pickup Fred who came over from the mainland at the
jetty.
We would later meet a bunch of friends at night to see off Junjie who
was going
back to another state.

It was 2.30pm. The weather was extremely hot. 10 minutes later,we find
ourselves
at the Four Leaves Cafe at the Gama Complex for a late lunch.

Entrance.
The entrance of the place is located
beside the main entrance of the
complex itself.
From its look, one
can tell it's one of those many
localized 'cafes' serving the usual
local food with a higher price in
exchange for a better presentation
and yes, air
conditioned environment.

Interior.
Nothing in particular to point out
about the decor.

Fred.
Quite a nice shot, too bad the back
lighting spoiled the photo.

Me
This is my 5th shot. People around me
was starting to look.

Fried Garlic Rice w Spicy Chicken.

Price : RM6.90
It was today's special, so each of us had one of these. The rice is fried mildly
with garlic, it's not so heavy in the taste, but it's enough to make a decent
garlic rice. The chicken is fried and soaked with some spicy and sourish sauce.
Kinda goes well with the rice. Not too spicy but a bit sourish.

Hokkien Char
Price : RM6.90
Your typical Hokkien Char from the
hawkers served in a mini wok. It
tastes utterly average and it may
have more meat than a usual plate
from the hawker, but the whopping
price of RM6.90 do not do justice at
all.In addition to that, it comes with
some disgusting sauce.

Disgusting Sauce
(comes with Hokkien Char)
On the left would be soy sauce. On
the right would be disgusting sauce.
Common sense tells me it's sambal,
but after tasting it, it's disgusting
sauce to me.

Jelly / Agar-agar Thingy
Price : Free
I am not into jelly or agar-agar. So I
have no comment on it. After all, it is
free. Still, it looks like frozen urine to
me.

Overall, Four Leaves Cafe has been around for quite sometime. Its rice dishes
(fried rice + chicken, garlic rice, nasi lemak) are not bad and it only costs less
than RM10.00 to enjoy a no-sweat meal. However, keep away from the
western food and the hokkien char. They are just average. And yes, keep
away from the disgusting sauce as well.
